My Mother
This is a song Paula wrote with the kids for Mother’s Day. After a group discussion about what our own mother means to us, this song came forth. It is a beautiful reminder of how profound and important mothers are to us all. Ricky plays along with his guitar, and Bryan joins us on the piano. This is the live performance of the group recording that you hear on the record.

Ricky, the eldest of our M4tK students, has been through quite a lot in his life. In this video we see him inspired to give back, sharing the encouraging words he has found within during times of uncertainty, and in a stream-of-consciousness performance accompanied by Bryan Ingram on the piano, he plays and sings from deep within his open heart. This is such an amazing song, one that inspires understanding, compassion, and encouragement for anyone who is going through a difficult time, or ever has.
